Transmission noise whilst engine braking Civic Type R Ep3 2004 95.000km

    So the noise I’ve been hearing. It’s
    when you are doing engine braking mainly, or if you are coasting along
    doing 30 in 3rd. Each time you let the momentum of the car turn the
    engine the noise get audible. It sounds a bit like a grinding noise,
    possibly bearings. If you just gently touch the accelerator it almost
    disappears. Sory for English but my German isit so well..

    I hear the same but I think it is normal. I think the noise komming out for the gearbox.
    On the S2000 I drove one time there was too the same niose.

    Wie hört sich denn euer EP3 beim gas wegnehmen an?
    Ich höre es auch deutlich im bereich von 3000rpm in den Gängen 1-4 denke aber das es normal ist.
    Es hört sich ähndlich an wie die älteren Hondas im retourgang, nur nicht so extrem.


    Hoffe das ich da nicht die Katze im Sack gekauft habe
