with winter arriving shit gets boring... also hab ich mich auf all die alten Bilder auf meinem Rechner gstürzt und ein paar von meinem Kackfass gefunde.. Interessiert vieleicht den ein oder anderen. Der "how to build a driftcar" thread lol

Get yourself an old fucked up car

First step (should allways be done first): slam it!

Next steps: weld up the diff (as open diffs are a disease), get a FMIC and put in a decent sized turbo. As the car will still look like shit: add some paint. NOTE: Do this things with functionality in mind, not perfection!!!

At that point you're ready for some serious fun! Unforunantly there won't be many pics of the first few fundays as your car still sucks and your driving as well.

After a few driftdays you'll realise that you need more wheels! I'd prefer Rotas because they look cool, are affordable and you can throw em against the floor when having a bad time

Now grab your car and go for even more fun!

You^ll get noticed and have your car featured on drift websites...you'll like that

At this point your engine will separate itself into pieces ( may happen sooner..or later..but it will happen fpr sure!)
You'll start thinking about a 2JZ swap... or rebuild your blown powerplant!

Your engine should now be bulletproof and ready to take any abuse :

JZ wirds wohl leider nicht geben diesen Winter

Dafür etwas mehr Lock, mehr lowness und etwas Kosmetik!

Wird sich zeigen was damit möglich ist Jonas... je nach Budget werden wir wohl ein paar IDS Pro Läufe fahren..we'll see...

Relativ aktuelle Pics:

Zum einen Budget, mit dem Motor ist ja noch lange nicht getan, Gearbox, Fuellines... Diff, Antriebswellen etc. müssten dann auch gewechselt werden. Finanziel recht happig.. Mehr Leistung erfordert auch breitere Reifen... verteuert die ganze Sache nur unnötig.

Des Weiteren bringt ein guter JZ Swap das Versetzen der Spritzwand und Verbreiterung des Getriebetunnels mit sich um die Balance des Autos nicht komplett über den Hauffen zu werfen...

Wäre geil aber im Moment nicht machbar und overkill.
